Dinosaur Egg Overview — Grow a Garden: Prehistoric Update
The Dinosaur Egg (not to be confused with the Primal Egg) was added in Update 1.13 during the limited-time Prehistoric Event that began on July 5, 2025. It hatches into one of six powerful dinosaur-themed pets and takes exactly 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch.
Obtainment Methods
There are three ways to obtain the Dinosaur Egg during the Prehistoric event:
- Graham’s Exchange
- Give any pet except dinosaurs to the NPC Graham.
- After 1 hour, there’s a chance to receive 1 to 3 Dinosaur Eggs.
- Best strategy: Use common pets, as rare ones may convert directly into a dinosaur pet instead of an egg.
- Dino Track Quests
- Complete Dino Quests from NPC Blaire.
- Completing three quests rewards you with:
- 1x Ancient Seed Pack
- 1x Dinosaur Egg
- 1x Dino Crate
- Crafting
- Requires upgrading the DNA Machine to Level 4.
- Recipe (via bench next to Graham):
- 1x Common Egg
- 1x Bone Blossom Crop
- 5,500,000 Sheckles

Hatchable Pets and Abilities
The Dinosaur Egg only hatches legendary or divine tier pets. Each pet has unique abilities and a specific hatch probability:
