Allflame’s Impact on PoE Currency and Strategy in Patch 3.26

Initially a fundamental element of the Necropolis league, Allflame Embers are now set to serve as a lasting and influential resource for Exiles aiming to enhance their farming strategies and substantially increase their PoE 1 Currency acquisition.

Essentially, an Allflame Ember is a consumable item that enables players to control the types of monsters they face in a map. When utilized with the Map Device, an Allflame Ember alters a specific monster pack within the map to a different, selected monster type.

How Allflames Work: The Mechanic Unveiled

Acquisition: Allflame Embers drop from various sources throughout the game, often related to the Necropolis encounters where they originated. Their rarity and the specific monster type they grant will dictate their value.

Application: Before opening a map, you’ll place Allflame Embers into dedicated slots on your Map Device, similar to how Scarabs are used. Each map can accommodate a limited number of Allflames, allowing for versatile combinations.

Transformation: Once the map is opened, the designated monster packs within it will be replaced by the types specified by your Allflame Embers. This transformation is consistent throughout the entire map.

Targeted Loot: The crucial aspect is that these transformed monsters drop loot as if they were naturally spawning in that form. This means Legion mobs drop Timeless Splinters, Essence monsters drop Essences, and so on.

Strategic Application: Maximizing Your Gains
Targeted League Mechanics: Want to farm specific league mechanics without relying on RNG or dedicating entire Atlas passives? Allflames are your answer.

Blight Runs: Use “Allflame Ember of the Blight” to ensure every map has a high density of Blighted monsters, increasing your chance for Blight oils and unique items.

Essence Overload: “Allflame Ember of the Essence” can flood your map with high-tier Essences, a consistent source of crafting PoE Currency.
Legion Splinters: Stack “Allflame Ember of the Legion” with Legion Scarabs and Atlas passives to create a Legion farm that’s incredibly efficient for Timeless Splinters and Emblems.

Divination Card Farming: Certain monster types are more prone to dropping specific Divination Cards. Allflames allow you to force these monster types into your maps, dramatically increasing your chances of finding valuable cards like “The Doctor,” “House of Mirrors,” or “Brother’s Stash.”

Unique Item Hunting: Some unique items are tied to specific monster families. If you’re hunting a rare drop from, say, a particular Beast type, an Allflame Ember can make your farm far more efficient.

Synergy with Atlas Tree and Scarabs: Allflames don’t work in isolation. They reach their full potential when combined with synergistic Atlas Tree passives and Scarabs. Running “Allflame Ember of the Delirium” alongside a Delirium Scarab and your Delirium Atlas nodes will create a truly overwhelming, and incredibly rewarding, encounter.

XP Farming: Transforming all monster packs into high-density, high-XP granting types can make leveling far more efficient, especially in later stages of the game.

Allflame Embers in Path of Exile 3.26 are not merely a new consumable; they signify a significant transformation in the way players can engage with mapping and the generation of PoE Currency. By offering unparalleled control over monster encounters, they enable Exiles to develop highly efficient and targeted farming strategies.
