Final Fantasy XIV:Some questions we can not avoid

Final Fantasy XIV : A Realm Reborn is definitely a solid game, but it does have a big problem: gold (or gil, as the local currency is named) selling and spamming Real Money Trade workers trying their hardest to control the economy and make as much profit as possible at the expense of legit players.
But what is the scope of the problem? A simple character search can help us catch a glimpse on it. One of the most common names used by gil sellers is “Goldceo” followed by a random last name. That’s something every player notices every day, and it’s very doubtful that any legit player would ever use such a silly name.
Final Fantasy XIV has a handy web based character search feature that allows us to know just how many “Goldceo” are crowding the game’s servers. You can find the result here.
The list is truncated at last names beginning with a “S”, because it can display only 1,000 results at the same time. This means that there are over 1,000 “Goldceo” characters in the game, and all of them or nearly all are dedicated RMT tools. If we consider that “Goldceo” isn’t even the only name used for the purpose, it’s easy to see that the problem has spread to an extreme level.
Square Enix has been making considerable efforts to fight the issue since the times of Final Fantasy XI,  even getting to the point of creating a “special task force” of GMs dedicated exclusively to root the problem out of the company’s MMORPGs, but it’s like playing whack-a-mole, and the manpower of the RMT industry as a whole seems to surpass what the Japanese publisher can put on the field.
Of course such a rampant RMT problem also indicates that the game is quite healthy, as RMT firms would not waste that kind of resources of a game that doesn’t guarantee them a hefty profit, but this isn’t exactly the first thought occurring to most players when they’re getting spammed by a gil seller peddling his wares. Hopefully, at the very least, Square Enix will implement easier ways to blacklist and report offenders, because that’s starting to be direly needed.
Update – October the 29th: apparently now the search for the “Goldceo” name only yields 40 results, hinting to the strong possibility that Square Enix’s Special Task Force pulled out the big guns and removed most of the offenders. We’re waiting for further information from Square Enix. (source:dualshockers)

Although multiple characters can be transferred from one World to another with a single use of this service, multiple characters from different Worlds cannot be transferred to the same World, nor can multiple characters from a single World be transferred to separate Worlds.

There’s an in-depth explanation post now appearing on the Lodestone, but the long and short of it is that if you fork over $18, you’re pretty much set.

Something About Final Fantasy XIV You Should Comprehend

Recently, a lot of games appeared in the market, and one of them named Final Fantasy XIV is seemly in a dominate position. Next, I will show you something about the fantastic game.
Final Fantasy XIV is the fourteenth game in the Final Fantasy series and the second after Final Fantasy XI to be a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. The game was developed and published by Square Enix, and is available in four languages; Japanese, English, French, and German.
The game released online first from September 30, 2010 to November 11, 2012. It received widespread negative reception when it was first launched. The gameplayers can acquire their own ffxiv gil in the game.
In response to the heavy criticism of the game’s quality, Square Enix redesigned both the development team and the game. The original version of the game was ceremoniously concluded with a virtual extinction event.
Final Fantasy XIV appeared just before the Seventh Umbral Era. Players create and customize avatars who participate in the affairs surrounding the impending invasion by the Garlean Empire and its relationship to Dalamud’s descent. The various nation states of Eorzea reestablish their Grand Companies and form an alliance to prepare for the coming war with the Empire.
A Realm Reborn’s alpha testing cycle began on October 29, 2012. After a promotionally priced two-day “Early Access” period, the game went live via all normal retail channels. The relaunch has carried over the original game’s setting, lore and intended story, but incorporate a new client, graphics engine, server and data structures, a revamped interface, redesigned maps, more gameplay variations and additional story content.

Final Fantasy XIV tops 1.5M registered users

Final Fantasy XIV is going strong even with the subscription-only model, topping 1,500,000 registered users this week according to Famitsu. Of course, “registered user” is a murky term that may or may not apply to active players, but it’s still a figure worth noting.
The reborn title also is in the midst of its All Saints’ Wake in-game holiday. Check out the website’s lore for the event, and then head in-game to speak to a member of one of the shifty traveling troupes to get a special quest during this spooky time of year. All Saints’ Wake will continue until November 1st, and our own Eliot will be talking about it in-depth in his column tomorrow.
Why must they always post registered users? That doesn’t say how many of them bought the game, unless that’s what registered users is supposed to mean.  For all we know, registered users could just be the people who created Square Enix accounts for FFXIV.
Still, good for FFXIV.  Maybe it’ll be able to help make a comeback with the subscription market. Registered larger population base, on the other hand can also react in a favorable Final Fantasy XIV environment, it’s like ten people if there is a good man, then there will be one hundred one thousand people, I am I do not know you understand metaphor

Future Prospects for Final Fantasy XIV

Some of these issues probably just come down to the fact that we did just get a whole new version of the game less than two months ago, and the development team had only so much time to add new stuff to the game with the first patch containing a huge pile of stuff. So this was always going to be a little bit of a wash; there’s only so much you can do.
Part of the problem, though, is a lack of ambition. The holiday events are structured so that no one winds up needing to go out of the way to try something, and the whole thing is accessible as long as you’ve hit level 15 on one job (something that is about as challenging as falling asleep on NyQuil). And while accessibility is nice, it’s not the only thing that matters.
I’ve stated that I like Final Fantasy XIV’s current endgame, and I do, but part of the fun of holiday events is that you have something to pull in a different direction for a little while. Spice up an old dungeon or two; give us something new to deal with. Haukke Manor could hold an optional boss with minimal effort; it fits with the holiday, and because of how level sync works, it could legitimately be FFXIV Gil done with almost any setup of players. Or even just a roaming set of FATEs, something to chase — give us something to keep our interest beyond the first few moments of the holiday.
The team on the game is fully capable of making some engaging diversions. Let’s, you know, actually have a few.

Tell you special news about primary final fantasy xiv

It has been a long time since ffxiv I shows its face to us.What we are playing now is ffxiv .Maybe you don’t know that clearly ,it doesn’t matter. We can share the news about primary ffxiv.
FFXIV features a new job system, called the Armory System, which is based on the weapons a character chooses to wield rather than the selection of jobs and subjobs. It contains significantly different gameplay than Final Fantasy XI, modelling itself after the success of its predecessor, player feedback and other successful MMOs.
 contain ffxiv power leveling

Specially , FFXIV does not feature experience points in the way that FFXI and most other MMOs do. Instead, the development of specific abilities occurs in a different way .But they all contain ffxiv power leveling.Final Fantasy XIV was revealed at E3 in 2009. The Windows PC version of FF14 was released in September 2010.
The game’s beta went well, but since its initial release players have complained about the quality of the game and its gameplay. Square Enix extended free trials and offered players free subscriptions while it works on the game, to ensure that players didn’t give up before changes could be implemented.
One important person, who was producer for Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV during the game’s development, stepped down from his role in response to the negative feedback, with Naoki Yoshida taking his role. Major changes to the development team were made to revise the game. The PS3 version was delayed while Square Enix made improvements to the game.

Final Fantasy XIV :A letter from the producer ,LI

Hello again, all you FFXIVers out there! Yoshi-P here, bringing you my fifty-first Letter from the Producer.

It’s already been a month and a half since release, and after adding several new Worlds, optimizing the servers, and expanding the data centers, it’s full speed ahead for the development team as we prepare for the first big patch.
Looking over data from each World, it’s great to see so many players in every level range. Whether it’s exploring the nooks and crannies of Eorzea, chasing after FATE, braving through dungeons for Allagan tomestomes, or taking on the Binding Coil of Bahamut, everyone seems to be settling into their own play style as they find their place in the community.
As for myself, I’ve finally defeated Titan in the main story, and am now in snowswept Coerthas. I’ve been going Buy FFXIV Gil it incognito on the public servers, and it’s been a lot of fun playing with you all. I can never resist a shout for help to venture through lower level dungeons, so it’ll probably be a while before I reach end game.
Speaking of end game, I’d like to take a moment to address our players who have completed the main scenario, and are now working to complete relic quests and fight against the hard-mode primals. We realize how difficult it’s been to acquire tomestones and have taken measures to alleviate this problem. Although we had a few setbacks necessitating an extension of the planned maintenance on October 15, as well as a subsequent emergency maintenance, we’ve added additional instance servers for Amdapor Keep as well as the Wanderer’s Palace. We’ve also increased the number of tomestones obtainable in these dungeons, and made adjustments to gil received from within. Patch 2.1 will introduce even more ways to accumulate tomes, so please bear with us.
End game players have also encountered problems with the fifth turn of the Binding Coil of Bahamut. This issue was to be addressed with the patch on October 15, but unfortunately we’ve confirmed that the problem still persists. Please rest assured we are working diligently to resolve this issue so that players can resume play in this instance as soon as possible.
Our first update will be fairly substantial, and can be divided into three key parts. First and foremost, we want players to have more options to enjoy themselves in Eorzea. We’ll be introducing daily quests and treasure hunts for those looking to play solo, and various system adjustments will make it easier to obtain Allagan tomestones of philosophy and mythology with your party mates. You can also expect to see new dungeons, the Crystal Tower, extreme primal battles, and the return of Good King Moggle Mog. There’s also housing and the Wolves’ Den to look forward to, both of which are being fine-tuned and debugged as we speak.
Second, we’ll be implementing feedback from you, the players. Not only will the user interface be updated, but we’ll also be adding an item-sort function, item level restrictions on the Duty Finder, the MVP system, and a number of other new features.
Last but certainly not least, we’ll be introducing the salon where players can customize character features such as hair and face paint, and a party search function for individual Worlds. This wouldn’t be a FINAL FANTASY if it didn’t have a story, so expect to see new developments in the main scenario, and perhaps even the return of a certain someone from Version 1.0.
More details will be revealed during the upcoming LIVE letters. I’m planning to host one every month up until the release of 2.1, and I hope you tune in to all of them!
And that’s all from me for today. See you again on October 19, at the ninth Letter from the Producer LIVE!

Witness the epic rebirth of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.

Witness the epic rebirth of one of the biggest RPG franchises in history as Square Enix release Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy XIV originally released 3 years ago but despite the popularity of the Final Fantasy franchise, the game was considered a failure by developers, players and critics. Since that time Square Enix have taken the game offline and spent 3 years developing it’s rebirth in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The game launched in late August and despite some typical launch day woes, players and critics welcomed the latest MMO adaptation with welcome arms.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is arguably one of the biggest MMO projects to grace the online world today. It’s filled with innovation, unique features and tons of side content. One of the most popular features of the game is the FATE system. FATE quests are dynamic events that occur randomly throughout Eorzea. As players participate in their regular daily activities they can encounter special events that require collaboration with other players in order to succeed. Imagine exploring the fantastical world of Eorzea as a giant Malboro attacks a nearby settlement, forcing players to respond as they combine arms to defeat a serious threat. These are FATE quests.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn also utilizes a similar class system to that in Final Fantasy XI. Players are able to select a class during character creation but are free to change once they reach a certain level, even combining the abilities from two different classes to create their own unique mix. This unique feature spreads further into the combat system, offering players one of the most interactive features seen in an MMO game.
Players are able to activate abilities in quick succession to utilize additional effects, damage Final Fantasy XIV Gil and other bonuses. This puts players in control of the combat, rather than mindlessly activating abilities with no thought other than maximum damage. Limit Breaks also make a return as groups of players can accumulate damage to activate a massive Limit Break capable of deal devastating damage and adding awesome status effects.

Final Fantasy’s Lightning strikes again and Wii remotes get a Super Mario makeover

If you’ve always wanted to play the PlayStation Vita on your television, well, starting this month, you finally can. Dubbed PS Vita TV, this little console lets you do just that — and so much more.
PS Vita TV fits in the palm of your hand, is hooked up to your television and takes PS Vita Final Fantasy XIV Gil cartridges. Simply pop in a cartridge, and play using a PlayStation 3 controller.
What makes this micro-console truly interesting is that once the PS4 is released in Japan next February, the PS Vita TV will also allow PlayStation 4 streaming and remote play to any television in your home. For example, you can connect the PS Vita TV to a television that isn’t hooked up to your PS4 and then stream PS4 games, as well as paid video services, to that TV. Just think how many living-room arguments this will prevent.
Priced at ¥9,480, the PS Vita TV will go on sale Nov. 14.
